Our Navy work today ranges from research and development of new
weapon systems to life-cycle support of systems on every ship and aircraft type
in the Navy's inventory. A few examples are cited below:
- Research in using periscope imagery for automated ship detection, ranging and tracking.
- Development of a signal processor that enhances 360 ° submarine sonar performance.
- Affordable Weapon alternative to the Cruise Missile at less than 10% of the cost.
- Development, fabrication, and installation of high stress Cables and Cable Molds for outboard cabling systems on submarines.
- Broad ranging ISEA support at every Fleet facility used by the US Navy.
- Installation of the NAVSEA Headquarters LAN/WAN at Washington Navy Yards.
- Total Ship Training Program support for PEO IWS 1 including BFTT, BEWT, and TSSS on-board training systems.
- System/Subsystem Specification and architectural design documentation for DJC2.
- Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) O&M, engineering, T&E, Logistics support.
- Extension of Joint Mission Planning System to distributed, collaborative planning capability for expeditionary forces.
- Research and development of the X-Craft aluminum catamaran.a 1,000-ton-displacement naval vessel that is self-deployable up to 6,000-n.mi, capable of sustained 50-knot speed in SS3, and able to accommodate multiple missions in the littoral environment.
- Pulse power requirements for a ship-mounted electro-magnetic launcher for a deployable gun system for DDX capable of launching 20 kg smart projectiles a distance of 200+ km.
- Transforming aging electronic modules from fielded C4I systems into new modules with identical form, fit, and function to solve obsolescence problems with C4I systems.
